Artisan loves the grease and is not getting tired in beefing up cars. After producing a Camaro SS with a whopping 700 horsepower, they plan to come up with the 2010 Ford Mustang set to conquer the blacktop this month.

The DNA of the 700hp Mustang is based on the Mustang GT with a V8 engine that is coupled with GTK#50 turbochargers. Artisan will be working with Randall Reed Ford to make mutation of the Mustang to a power beast possible.

The tuned Mustang will be branded with the Reed Speed SE mark and will be marketed in some Ford dealerships and Reed stores across the country by mid this year.

Artisan was the team behind the IS-F that caught the attention of the crowd at SEMA. They plan to implement the concepts used on the Lexus for the Ford Mustang.

The 2010 Ford Mustang involved in the projects has the V8 4L engine variant that is capable of producing 315hp with a torque of 325lb-ft. The car uses the cold air induction technology used by Ford racing which allows it to have the power it needs on the road. The red line for the stock V8 is at 6500.

Reed and Artisan will be using a catalytic converter, wastegate, intercoder, and an upgrade to the ECU to make the performance of the turbochargers optimal. Buyers will have a choice to install 20 inch rims with 14 inch brakes. The Mustang will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
