When you get hold a key of a $152,465 super car like the 2009 Vantage from Aston Martin, you make sure that you use it and have the drive of your life time. Push the car to its limits and see how it feels like on the road.
We did not steal a 2009 Vantage but was able to test drive it. It is a car to drool for when you see it parked in front of you. You know the fine lines of a great car inside and out.
You may recognize the genes of the distant relative Jaguar XKR when stare at a Vantage. From front to rear, it may be the car you have wanted to draw since you were a fourth grader. It is a car that does not need to exert efforts to impress.
The interior is an elegant mix of technological, technical, and traditional styles. It is like riding a Steinway piano that can blaze on the road in a blink of an eye.
The push is not as impressive as the Porsche 911 Turbo but the 2009 Aston Martin Vantage knows how to send some tingles to your spine. You can feel the 420 horsepower V8 4.7L power plant under its hood that can push you back your seat as it flies from 0 to 60 in just 4.7 seconds.

Bentley Comes up with Fastest GT, Runs on Biofuel
February 2, 2009 by Ryan · Leave a Comment
The upcoming Geneva Auto Show will be witness to the unveiling of the fastest Bentley in the car manufacturer’s history. It will a Bentley GT powered by biofuel.
Details of the new variant of the Continental were not revealed by Bentley executives. The company is also very careful releasing only an image of the new Bentley GT.
The circles of car enthusiasts are shooting some hypothesis to uncover some possibilities about the Bentley GT.
Today, the fastest Bentley in the company’s range of vehicles will be the Continental GT Speed. This means machine can blast from 0 to 60 in a blink 4.2 seconds and hits peak speed at 202 MPH. The car struggles because of its flawed aerodynamics, weight of 5000 lbs., and 30% driveline waste.
The new Bentley GT must surpass the standards of the GT cars like the Mercedes CL65 or the Ferrari 612 Scagliett to be truly the bearer of the luxury GT banner. To do this the new Continental version must be a lighter car, more fuel efficient, and have better aerodynamics.
It will also boost the appeal of the Bentley GT if it can harness the energy of the ethanol. The octane boost and efficiency of the alcohol based fuels will really give this alternative car fueled car a real performance.
The rating of octane in alcohol based fuels will give way to more compression in the cylinder head and since there will be no immediate detonation the designers will be able to maximize the turbochargers of the car. The ethanol which burns cooler than conventional fuel will allow for higher rpm and make the components of the engine stand higher frictions. Hypotheses wrong or not, the Bentley GT will really be worth the waiting.
Bentley is planning on running the entire fleet on biofuel in the next couple years – and I think that’s a great idea!

Dodge is bringing back the legend of the original 1970 Challenger with the Challenger R/T Classic special edition car that was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show.
Distinguished with its racing stripes, the Challenger R/T Classic carries the trademark original Challenger script on the fenders, not on the grille. The engine boasts of dual variable-cam timing (VCT) and two spark plugs per cylinder to raise engine power and torque but at the same time keeping its fuel efficiency capabilities.
It’s available with either five-speed automatic of a six-speed manual transmission; the manual option giving you better performance rates compared to the automatic transmission with its fuel-saving capabilities.
Combined with the Tremec six-speed manual transmission, this car boasts of the performance-tuned Track Pak’s precision-shift “pistol-grip” shifter, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with defeatable traction control, Hill Start Assist (HSA), bright pedals, anti-spin 3.92 differential, and a four-wheel disc performance brake system. I’m a huge fan of the Mach 1 Ford GT40. I’m not saying I don’t like the new GT40, but for some reason I always prefer the original over the sequels. I found this breathtaking photo of a 1965 Ford GT40 from a convention on Wikipedia — and I decided to share.
First post btw, so please forgive me for it being so short — I’m settling in.
